The Roles and Functions of the Establishment Department

The Establishment Department deals mainly with the service related matters of teaching and non teaching staff of the university as shown below :-

  • Maintenance of the Service Record of all Employees.
  • Processing and monitoring various type of leaves 
    1. casuall leave
    2. Earned Leave
    3. Maternal Leave
    4. Paternal Leave
    5. Child Care Leave
    6. Quarantine Leave
    7. Sabbatical Leave
    8. Academic Leave
    9. Study Leave
    10. Duty Leave
  • Dealing with disciplinary matters in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Statute no. -13 & 14 and M.P. Civil Services Conduct Rules 1956.
  • Maintenance of Service Books and Personal Files,
  • Service matters including framing/review of Recruitment Rules,
  • Creation of posts, appointments, promotions and upgradation of Payscale
  • Preparation and maintenance of seniority list of employees.
  • Redressal of Grievances of employees .
  • Posting/transfer
  • Pay-fixation,
  • Annual Increments,
  • Issuance of instructions on punctuality and miscellaneous administrative  orders/ Notifications
  • Preparation of Reply of Legal notices and Writ Petitions related to service matters
  • Clearance of Retiral dues of employees.
  • Filing reply of applications under RTI and Vidhansabha Questions
  • Filing reply of Complaints received on CM helpline Portal.
